I’m Cody Hyde, currently serving as the Founder & CEO at Nautical Financial Services. With a strong background in financial operations and reporting, I oversee our month-end and annual close processes, manage accounts receivable/payable, and actively collaborate with clients to improve their financial outcomes.
Known for my strong work ethic and mental toughness, colleagues describe me as “one of the hardest working and mentally tough people I know” who is “committed to getting the job done” and “pleasant to work with” . I thrive in fast-paced environments and pride myself on delivering accurate, timely financial insights that support key decision-making.

I’m a driven accounting professional and recent graduate from Monroe College, where I built a strong foundation in accounting principles, practices, and software. My academic training covered financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and auditing, preparing me to contribute effectively in both corporate and public accounting settings.
During my studies, I developed a keen attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a passion for leveraging numbers to drive business insights. I’m proficient with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Excel, and foundational ERP systems.
